Scent, school scent, office scent, whatever you know, is very versatile and can be worn pretty much all year, round for the most part, and it’s going to be generally the safest, one out of the list. So if that’s what you’re after, then you can go for this one, but if you’re after just an incredible performance, we’re going to start ramping it up at number nine; this is going to be the other fresher one here. But it does go a little bit more sweet; actually, this is Dior ohm original. So this is essentially their release.

Okay. This is not Dior. Ohm 20 a20, that’s not Iris, but this is what you would get nowadays if you’re trying to buy into the original Dior ohmDNA. This is it, right here. So when you compare this to something like D or, oh, intense, it’s much fresher, but when you compare it to something like Prada loam, it’s sweeter, so it’s kind of right there in the middle.

Now this one does, of course, to a heavy extent, have a good dose of lavender in it. So some aromatics have a little bit of that kind of sweetness, not to the level of Dior Omen, Tentsor, or something where it’s kind of chocolatey, but it kind of bumps it in that direction. Just a little bit here; ultimately, it’s still very versatile. Also, a really solid performer given that this is just essentially the original EDT DNAon, my skin, around eight hours on average, so the Prada was kind of seven to eight; it’s going to depend and it’s going to vary person to person. But for me, eight right around there is generally about.

I’m lucky to get out of this one, so I really can’t complain too much, so at number eight from Givenchy! This one is gentleman eau de parfum (Iris), vanilla, some patchouli, black pepper, and, uh, just kind of that DNA. Basically, what this does is introduce sweetness in the form of vanilla and a little bit of tonka bean here, and the iris itself is going to be of the sweeter variety, whereas in something like Prada alone again, we’re talking a fresh iris, so we’re finally working our way over to the sweeter stuff now. Now, what’s nice about this is that, generally, it’s going to be a lot more mass-pleasing than some of the other Iris fragrances that we’re about to get into. You know, this one focuses heavily on the vanilla as well to offset the iris, and so there’s that. Really nice balance going on; it’s really a nice kind of entry level into the sweet, Iris fragrances. You already have production alone.

It’s nice, fresh, and soapy-clean. You like it, but you want to start dabbling in some heavier stuff, and you don’t want to dive straight into something that’s really extreme. You could go for this one, and it’ll kind of give you an idea of what you can expect for the most part, on average, nine hours of longevity. What I tend to see out of this one is sometimes a bit less, sometimes a bit more. It’s always going to vary, and again, from person to person, it’s going to vary as well. You can just speak off of my experience on my skin with these, but for nine hours.

I can’t complain, and also, this is going to be a little bit more affordable than some of the others. Usually around 80 on Discounters, it’s not as cheap as it used to be, but it’s still going to be more affordable than some of the others. Likei mentioned that we’re going to be getting into here soon, but that does come at a cost. That’s why this is at number eight and number seven, a newer release; it’s Armani Code parfum. So this one hastonka bean, but Iris, some Bergamot, and some nicemasculine cedar wood are in here.

So it really does bring the iris to the front, and you’re still maintaining that original code DNA with a little bit of code EDP in here. But this doesn’t have vanilla or suede, like in code, EDP; they’re kind of losing those notes to free up some room to pump. It’s a nice kind of soft Dusty Iris Accord, and the way the iris works with the tonka bean is amazing; it’s addicting. It’s ; it’s very, very smooth. I actually just wore this one, and the other day it had great longevity. You know it’s still on the lower end of the list, but I don’t want you to think that it’s a poor performer.

None of these actually are poor performers when you break it down, which is actually one thing that’s pretty nice about this DNA is that they all generally do pretty. Well, soon, my skin usually lasts around nine hours as well; it’s kind of a toss-up between this and gentlemen when you’re ranking them. You know again that you can only put so much weight on something like this. This video is more meant to be a general guide for you. So, you know, if you basically go for any of the top five, you’re probably going to be really good. Anything below could be more hit or miss, but this is such a subjective thing that I’m trying to do the best I can here.

Well. Ultimately, it’s definitely not a good performer by any means, and it’s a really nice addition to the code, family, and one I think you should check out. If you do like Iris, this one’s not folding on Discounters, yet it’s popped up here and there. So maybe wait around a little bit, I’m sure! So this is also the newest of the lines, and they have really good fragrances in this line: the EDT, the eau de parfum, and the eau de toilette extreme. But it kind of took me off guard because all of those are based around essentially musk and wood, with a little bit of citrus here and there. They are really, really good, though, uh, throw in some vetiver as well. They’re not blue fragrances, and even though they may look like it, they’re actually much more classy and sophisticated compared to some other things.

It’s a line that’s generally overlooked. In my opinion, but they came out with this parfum, and when I saw the note breakdown—and I saw that Iris—I thought one of two things: either it’s going to have a pretty prominent Iris accord in which I was going to be very excited, or you were hardly going to be able to smell it at all, and they just kind of threw it in there to maybe nuance it a little bit. Andsay hey. We have Iris in here, but you can’t pickup on it. Luckily, it was the former, and you get the iris a lot, and the way I describe this one is that it smells a little bit like your sweet iris fragrances.

So it has the sweet Iris accord in it, but with the fresh DNA, you know, and that DNA being the rest of the blue Noir line. So you do get some of that musk, some of the wood, some of the vetiver, but then with the sweet, Iris, and it’s different, because prod alone is a fresh Iris. With a fresh base—some florals, you know, musk, a little bit of citrus, that sort of thing—but this is sweet Iris with a fresh base. So it’s a different combination that we haven’t really gotten from anything else on the market, and it smells really, really nice, very wearable, very versatile, and it’s a nice hybrid, and again, on my skin for nine hours on average. It is not uncommon, sometimes a bit more, given that this does have some nicewood and musk in the base.

It tends to stick around pretty long once it starts to get down: to that, nine, nine and a half, it’s pretty close to the skin, and it’s starting to head out. But you still pick up on it, so, given that this is going to be more affordable once it’s consistently on discounters, like I’ve seen it for as low as 65 dollars for 100 mil, hopefully at some point it’ll be more consistent at that price. I really can’t complain about a nice performer and a really nice flanker, so it’s top five time now, like I said a minute ago, if you’re really really after performance. First and foremost, if you go with any of these in the top five, you’re probably going to have the highest chances for success. You know it’s all subjective, but even if it’s off by an hour or two up here, it’s still going to be a very strong, above-average performer, so kick it off.

We have Gentlemen eau de parfum Reserve Prive by Givenchy, a new release this year and, of course, the newest addition to the Gentlemen Line. This has whiskey, chestnut vanilla, and tonka bean, so there are some gourmet aspects to this, mainly the chestnut and the whiskey. In addition to that nice, silky sweetness, can vanilla be a kind of tonka bean mixture? This smells drop-dead gorgeous. I mean, Imean, I’ve already raved on enough about this, so I’ll spare you that I’ve done reviews and put it on many lists, but all I can tell you is it’s. You know on my skin the best-performing one from the gentleman line.

That’s currently on the market and probably the best-smelling I love the EDP; there’s a lot of really good ones, but if I had to take my pick on my favorite, it would be this one. I mean, there is nothing short of mind-blowing about this one; truly, an impressive job at a flanker here. I love it. Nine and a half, sometimes pushing 10 hours on this one’s very strong, and again, it makes sense.

When you do look at the notes and you get a smell of this one, that chestnut, just the way, it’s compounded here; there’s a lot of heavy, sweet notes that really help this one to hang on for a long time again. It’s not aparfum; we’re not even talking about the highest concentrated scent here, but it really hangs around for a long time, and it’s very impressive stuff, okay, at number four. We have Valentino Womo intenses, so this one here is probably no stranger to you, Imean. This got its fair share of hype. You know, a couple years ago or whenever it was, it’s also been changed. So I do want to point out that the performance that I’m going to talk about is actually based off of this new bottle, so again, it’s got the little studs around it, which match the bottle and a cap.

Okay, so that’s what I’m basing my performance off of here, and, uh, before I get into that, just really quick. It has Iris, and of course it has some leather tonka bean, and what’s different about this is the leather, so it kind of adds a little bit more of a masculine balance, because when you have Iris, Tonka, vanilla, and these other sweet notes, it can start to push it towards a less masculine direction, but the leather kind of grounds. This one brings it back to smelling more like men’s scent than maybe some of the others, so that’s what I like about this. I think that’s what a lot of people like about this one; even though it has a lot of features, it’s still very smooth, very silky, and it smells amazing. Now, performance and wise longevity on my skin are about 10 hours. I mean, it’s no joke, and I’m talking about the version with the capso.

If you’re worried about. Oh, is it reformulated? does not last as long, it’ll last as long. Trust me, I get great performance out of the original, you know, with the built-in atomizer, and that 10 hours is based on this. So as far as I’m aware, they haven’t changed anything, and it still works. It still smells great and has great quality. It’s a really nice one to have around, and every time I wear it, it grows on me more and more. There’s a lot of depth to this one and each time. You smell it, and you might notice something a little bit different about it.

It’s really cool, okay? It’s really getting crazy here. Number three, we have good old Dior, ohm intense, so you guys knew it had to show up somewhere, and it landed at number. Three, which I think is a really solid ranking for this one, are Iris cacao and lavender, so it’s chocolatey, sweet, smooth, silky, and the way the cacao comes across. Is it almost a little bit of a Gourmand aspect as well? A little bit of a slight chocolatey feel smells amazing. I’ve always been a fan of this. I’ve told the story many times. The first time I smelled it, it was from a sample. I thought I was going to hate it because it gets compared to lipstick bags and makeup and whatever, and I was still fairly new at the time. I did try it from that sample, but somehow I loved it right away and saved up for a bottle.

I bought my first bottle, and I’ve worn through a ton of this stuff. I have multiple bottles. Now this is just one of them. I mean, this is one that I’ll just always keep with me. Always wear it heavily in the wintertime; it’s one of my favorite kinds of downtime, relaxing scents. Wear it in the evening, you know, when you’re just, you know, after a long day when it’s cold. Outside, whatever it’s, it really puts me in a good mood; it just smells amazing now, longevity-wise. This is also going to be around 10 and a half, not too much further past that; in my experience, I’ve never made it to 12 hours or anything like that. With this one, but again, to get 10 out of it, I think it is really quite acceptable.

That’s really, really good. Again, we live in an age where, if it doesn’t last 12 hours, apparently it’s weak. We’re so addicted to the beast mode sense, but realistically, on the designer side, we have a scent DNA that is as soft as these guys keep in mind. We’re talking about soft, silky, smooth scents to last 10. 10 and a half hours—that’s impressive, and it really, I mean, I can’t complain; uh, usually on Discounters, it’s around 100. I’m not sure if 110, 100, or something similar is cheap, but it’s well worth the investment, right?

This one does come out to be one of the most expensive ones in the video, unfortunately, however, from an investment standpoint. It’s well worth it because a little bit goes a long way now. This one does have Iris. Of course it has some chocolate, and so the way I describe this one, you’ll notice. It’s from Carolina Herrera.

You get a nice, sweet, chocolatey Iris kind of Gourmand leaning, but the leather smells a little bit like the leather and Ch-min Prime. I don’t think they have any boozy notes listed here, but I almost do get a little bit of a whiskey leather accord, similar to that of the discontinued CH Men Prevail. It’s like they brought that specific compound back just a little bit here. In addition, with that Irish chocolate and everything else going on, I mean, this is delicious. Definitely Gourmand-leaning, for sure; very , very addicting, mouth-watering, and it blew me away the first time I smelled it. You know, at this point, it’s a new addition to my collection.
